Procedure

The neck is cleaned and marked. Important Nerves are marked as an area not to treat. Local anaesthetic is injected. The treatment probe is placed into the skin via a small skin nick and the treatment commenced. It usually takes 45-60 minutes to perform and there may be slight discomfort as the energy levels are raised until they are just about tolerable. If you have IV sedation you will not feel the treatment. Once the treatment is over you are free to leave after a short period. The skin will feel a little swollen, tingly and slightly flushed.

Aftercare

Sleep upright to decrease the swelling quickly for a few days. You are free to return to your normal social and work routines when you feel comfortable.
