Advantages of Dermal Fillers for Neck.

Dermal fillers offer a gentle and safe anti-ageing treatment for skin rejuvenation without surgery. They are also effective in restoring loss of volume to the neck. As part of a course, they achieve a fresher and more natural appearance by reducing fine and deep lines. Three of the safest and most effective products, all of which are supported by significant clinical studies, are hyaluronic acid dermal fillers such as Juvederm Hydrate, Restylane and Teosyal RHA 1. They consist of a soft colourless injectable stabilised hyaluronic acid a naturally occurring substance in the skin that helps to add volume and hydration. As the levels of hyaluronic acid diminish with age, moisture is lost in our skin. These dermal fillers revitalise the skin, instantly diminishing the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

How are Dermal Fillers performed?

The area to be treated is identified and marked. The skin is cleaned with a skin preparation.
Often, a vibrating device is used to distract from any discomfort. Sometimes we even use a numbing cream 30-45 minutes before the treatment or ice to numb the area. Most of the fillers contain local anaesthetics that create a mild numbing effect. The filler is then injected into the skin using an ultra-fine needle to minimise discomfort.

We will usually massage the product before you leave and check to see evenness. You may massage it yourself. To reduce the swelling, you can use some ice wrapped in a damp cloth. Arnica cream can help reduce any swelling or bruising that you may have.
